01About Doris

Doris is a digital pet care companion designed to help pet owners better understand their pet's health information, organize pet health records, prepare for veterinary visits, and know what questions to ask a veterinarian.

Doris may allow you to describe symptoms, upload pet-related documents, store pet health history, and receive general educational information based on available sources and the information you provide.

Doris is not a veterinary clinic, veterinary hospital, emergency service, diagnostic provider, or substitute for professional veterinary care.

03Use of Uploaded Information

You may choose to upload pet-related documents, including lab reports, prescriptions, imaging files, pathology reports, photos, or other records.

By uploading information, you confirm that:

• You have the right to upload and share the information
• The information relates to your own pet or a pet you are authorized to care for
• The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You understand that Doris' output depends on the quality and completeness of the information provided

Doris may use the uploaded information to help organize your pet's health history, summarize records, identify topics to discuss with your veterinarian, and provide general explanatory guidance.

04User Accounts and Login

Some features may require you to create an account or log in through supported login methods, such as Google, Apple, WeChat, or other available options.

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login details secure
• Ensuring your account information is accurate
• Preventing unauthorized access to your account
• Notifying us if you believe your account has been compromised

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if we believe an account is being misused or used in violation of these Terms.

05Pet Health Dashboard

If you use the pet health dashboard, Doris may help you store and organize information related to your pet, such as health records, uploaded documents, observations, and previous conversations.

The dashboard is intended to support organization and understanding. It should not be treated as a complete medical record or as a replacement for records maintained by your veterinarian.

You remain responsible for checking information, maintaining copies of important documents, and seeking professional veterinary advice when needed.

06Emergency Donor Network

Doris may offer or develop an optional emergency pet blood donor network. Participation in this network is voluntary.

By registering interest in the donor network, you understand that:

• Registration does not commit your pet to donate blood
• You may decide each time whether to participate
• You may opt out at any time
• Doris does not store blood or operate as a blood bank
• Doris does not guarantee that a donor or recipient match will be found
• All medical decisions must be made by qualified veterinary professionals

Any donation process, donor suitability assessment, blood typing, medical screening, collection, transfusion, and related procedure must be handled by licensed veterinary professionals or authorized veterinary facilities.

Doris is intended only to help support communication and connection where appropriate. It does not provide veterinary approval, donor eligibility confirmation, or medical clearance.

07User Responsibilities

When using Doris, you agree not to:

• Upload false, misleading, harmful, or unlawful content
• Upload information about pets you are not authorized to represent
• Use Doris for emergency diagnosis or urgent medical decision-making
• Attempt to access another user's account or data
• Misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or attempt to reverse-engineer it
• Use Doris to harass, threaten, or harm others
• Rely on Doris as the sole basis for medical decisions about your pet

You agree to use Doris responsibly and to seek professional veterinary care when appropriate.

08AI-Generated and Automated Information

Some Doris features may use artificial intelligence or automated systems to help explain information, summarize records, or suggest questions to ask your veterinarian.

AI-generated responses may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or not applicable to your pet's specific condition. You should review all information carefully and confirm important points with a licensed veterinarian.

Doris may improve over time, but we do not guarantee that every response will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your pet's individual situation.

09Third-Party Sources and Services

Doris may refer to third-party sources, research databases, public health information, veterinary resources, or external services. These are provided for general reference only.

We do not control third-party websites, services, medical providers, veterinary clinics, emergency hospitals, donor facilities, or external platforms. We are not responsible for their content, actions, policies, availability, or accuracy.

10Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of Doris is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information you provide.

Because pet health records may contain sensitive information about you, your pet, your household, your veterinarian, or your location, you should only upload information you are comfortable sharing with Doris.

Please review the Privacy Policy carefully before using the service.

11Service Availability

We aim to keep Doris available and functional, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure access at all times.

The service may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party platform interruptions, network problems, or other reasons beyond our control.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any feature at any time.

12Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Doris, its owners, operators, partners, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any loss, harm, injury, damages, costs, or claims arising from:

• AI-generated or automated responses
• Delayed or unavailable veterinary care
• Decisions made without consulting a licensed veterinarian
• Errors or omissions in uploaded information
• Failure to find a donor or recipient through the donor network
• Third-party services, clinics, providers, or platforms
• Unauthorized access caused by user negligence or compromised credentials

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability where it cannot legally be limited.

13No Guarantees

Doris does not guarantee:

• A diagnosis
• A treatment outcome
• A medical recommendation
• A donor match
• A successful blood donation
• A successful veterinary outcome
• Complete accuracy of uploaded-document interpretation
• Availability of veterinarians, donors, or emergency services

Doris is designed to support understanding, organization, and preparation. It is not designed to replace professional care.

14Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, text, graphics, software, product features, and other materials on Doris are owned by or licensed to Doris unless otherwise stated.

You may use Doris for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, sell, or exploit any part of the service without written permission.

15Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Doris after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.

16Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to Doris if we believe you have violated these Terms, misused the service, created risk for other users, or acted unlawfully.
